Set in the heart of the Martinborough wine region, the Margrain Cellar Door and Kitchen  offers unparalleled vineyard views and outdoor seating areas right next to the vines. 

We welcome you to our Cellar Door and Kitchen. Margrain Vineyard founder Graham Margrain is often in the Cellar Door, with daughter Michelle lending a helping hand. Michelle's husband Calum is our chef, and Michelle and Calum's daughters will be serving you on the weekends. Margrain is a family business that has been going for 33 years, with three generations working together to bring you a truly personal wine and food experience.

Simplicity, quality and local produce are the cornerstones of our menu, with platters and pizzas designed to enjoy with friends and to complement our wines and gins. All chutneys, preserves and jellies are made in-house, from produce grown by us. Pizza bases and Calum's special pizza sauce are all house-made. We love to grow things, and to share our wines and produce with others.

OPENING HOURS

Wed to Fri - 11am to 3pm (platters only)

Sat and Sun  - 11am to 4pm (pizzas, platters, truffle fries)

Please use the below form to book a table for up to 10 people. For same day bookings, groups larger than 10, or function enquiries, please email us at kitchen@margrainvineyard.co.nz. We always recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Closed until 13 May for maintenance. Kitchen closed from 23 June to 17 July for staff's annual holiday. Cellar Door is open for wine and gin tastings daily during this time.
